Conference Replay: ''A New Science for Peace''

Candy Crowley, former anchor of CNN's ''State of the Nation with Candy Crowley,'' John Hagelin, PhD, President of the Global Union of Scientists for Peace, and experts in health, brain science, education, and the military held a morning summit last month to discuss the use of the evidence-based Transcendental Meditation technique to address the critical issues of toxic stress, trauma, and peace.

The summit—''A New Science for Peace: Research on Transcendental Meditation, the Brain, Trauma, and Peace''—took place at the Abramson Center for Peace, David Lynch Foundation, Washington, D.C.
